Christian Decker
Christian Decker is a Bitcoin enthusiast almost since its inception in 2009. In 2012 he enrolled as a PhD student at the Distributed Computing Group at ETH Zurich and concluded what is considered to be the first PhD dissertation about Bitcoin. The goal of his research was to improve the understanding of the underlying consensus mechanisms and to enable the network to scale with the increasing demands.
