The Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) in Türkiye, in collaboration with MESS (The Turkish Employers' Association of Metal Industries) and the World Economic Forum's ecosystems, is proud to announce a groundbreaking event focused on harnessing the untapped potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Manufacturing. The event took place at the esteemed MESS Technology Centre in Istanbul on June 13, 2023.

This all-day event brought together prominent industry leaders, esteemed academicians, and forward-thinking innovators to discuss how AI can revolutionize the manufacturing sector. With a shared objective to improve productivity, agility, sustainability, and workforce engagement, the event aimed to redefine the future of manufacturing through cutting-edge technological advancements.

The event boasts an agenda designed to provide participants with invaluable insights, thought-provoking discussions, and practical use cases of AI implementation. Some highlights of the event include:

Learning Insights: Participants had the unique opportunity to delve into the findings of a whitepaper published by C4IR Türkiye in collaboration with the World Economic Forum's Centres for Advanced Manufacturing and Supply Chains, as well as for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This comprehensive report sheds light on the transformative potential of AI in the manufacturing landscape.

Best Practices in AI Journey: Through engaging discussions, industry experts shared their experiences and success stories in approaching the AI journey. This included valuable insights on sustainable, high-quality outcomes, refining strategic priorities, and setting the stage for future advancements in the field.

Collaboration for Innovation: The event emphasized the pivotal role of collaboration across the ecosystem in driving innovation and fostering the widespread adoption of industrial AI. Participants also had the chance to explore the importance of cooperation and collective efforts in overcoming challenges and accelerating AI integration at scale.

In addition to these sessions, participants had the opportunity to witness AI in action during an exclusive tour of MEXT, a state-of-the-art technology center and digital factory. The MEXT Technology Centre, established by the Employer's Association of Metal Industry (MESS), is a prominent technological hub that plays a crucial role in supporting and guiding Türkiye's industrial sector. With 262 manufacturing members in various fields such as automotive, home appliances, and steel, MESS represents 40% of Türkiye's industry exports.
